Mum's home from the hospital on Xmas eve, so that's good. I still haven't talked to her surgeon, but the gist of what I'm getting from her sounds positive. She has to see him in 10 days. BTW I usually refer to her as Lois when I'm talking to other people, so if that name ever comes up, you'll know who I mean. Thanks for your support.

I've been encouraged to post some bird photos which I'd held back on, because I thought they were similar to other photos, and I didn't want to flood my page with too much of one thing at once. Here they come.

I just learned that one of my best and oldest friends died suddenly on the weekend. Werner made the odd decision to invite me to live with him, and put up with me for about six years til I moved to my present address. That he was also technically my landlord never seemed to come up. This is going to take some time to sink in or hit me. He was a hilarious, lovable goof of a friend and housemate; his parents German and possibly Norwegian, but I think he was a Tasmanian hippie at heart. He was a gregarious, easy going bloke who seemed to know everyone, and a lot of people would remember him as the co-founder and production director of IHOS Musi
Wolf Supermoon
