No plush were frightened in the making of this photo.
This is Raif (spelt/spelled 'Ralph', but pronounced as in Ralph Vaughn Williams, or 'Sir Henry's adventurous young nephew Ralph', so I mentally spell it 'Raif'). One of my many Footrot Flats plush.
This little patch of forest isn't really disturbing - though I'm unused to seeing large areas of bare, deciduous trees, so to me it does have a slightly eerie atmosphere in winter.) We went here for a plush photo shoot and ended up on this tree limb (the tree limb viewed from a distance does actually seem quite disturbing, but up close it's alright.) I decided to shoot in high-contrast black and white, and was dodging about trying to get the setting sun just going down in the gap between the tree trunks, and when I saw the pics on the monitor, I just thought this one looked unexpectedly eerie.
Actually I know for a fact, though he may not admit it, that Dog has been known to get frightened if lost in the woods at night, so this photo actually makes sense in a Footrot Flats scenario, as well. But rest assured Raif had fun shooting this.
